Kikoi Connection's "Rooted and Rising" program is a transformative initiative designed to empower young individuals aged 16-25. Through engaging workshops, participants explore a wide range of crucial topics, including:

Rooted and Rising is more than just a workshop series; it's a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and growth. Through interactive sessions, mentorship opportunities, and a supportive community, young people are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to navigate life's challenges and create a positive impact on the world.
The girls only workshop was held in April 2024 at Viables Community Centre. Before the workshop, participants expressed a range of emotions from excitement to nervousness. Post-workshop, their sentiments shifted positively, with increased confidence, inspiration, and satisfaction noted. Feedback highlighted the value gained from sessions on communication, financial stability, and creating change.
